TransActum360 is a Swiss based advisory firm for business owners worldwide. We map a company across ten succession readiness dimensions in one structured diagnosis, then carry the transition as a single, sequenced, executable path.
Reinhard Voelkel didn't learn succession from a book. He lived it. In 2002 he founded SUSS MicroOptics in Neuchâtel and led it for more than twenty years, growing it from an early-stage venture into a global supplier of precision micro-optics for telecoms, semiconductors, life sciences and automotive lighting. In January 2024 the company was acquired by Focuslight Technologies.
A physicist by training (PhD, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg), he is an SPIE Fellow, an OPTICA Senior Member and a Swiss Manufacturing Award laureate. Today he advises on mergers and acquisitions in industry and works with owners preparing, as he once did, the transition of their company.

A company almost never stumbles over its product. It stumbles over how ready it is to hand over.
Having been through the sale of his own company, then advising on other owners' deals, Reinhard kept seeing the same thing: what makes a transition fail is rarely the product or the market. It's what the owner never made legible in time.
He is wary of the word “consulting”. What he does is explain the rules of the game: helping each owner see which rules they are playing by, where they really want to go, and what they are actually building. Once those three are clear, the company becomes transferable.
TransActum grew out of that conviction, matured over years. Reinhard is now opening this work to a small number of owners.
What we do
Succession advice is usually split across lawyers, fiduciaries and brokers, each owning a fragment and none owning the outcome. We act as one neutral owner of the transition from end to end, so the diagnosis, the plan and the execution stay connected. We call this method TEOS, the Transition Execution Operating System.
